For us, Prabal Gurung is a no-brainer. His inspired designs, his runway-to-red-carpet masterpieces, his diffusion line, ICB — we love it all, we want it all, and we'll wear it all the time. So, we hate to disrupt this honeymoon, but we suddenly paused at the latest project from the Nepalese designer. For the second time, Gurung has teamed with Casadei for a line of statement footwear that perfectly complements his pre-fall '13 collection.

With a closer look at the daring footwear designs, we started to wonder if these pairs are not only extreme, but perhaps a bit too bold for us. We don't tend to call ourselves style conservatives or scaredy-cats, but the mesh, the neon, and the height of the two designs make us proceed with a bit more caution than usual. The booties and ankle-strap pumps look great in the pre-fall lookbook, but can we translate them for the sidewalk?

Hey, maybe we're just being Nervous Nancys. After all, if we would gladly call upon Gurung to dress us for practically any important affair, what could be so scary about a pair of heels that simply unleashes a little bit of your inner Grace Jones, right? Right? Check out all the styles available ahead, and give us your take in the comments.

But, there's really no bigger buzzkill than hours of trying on bathing suits that epically fail to do your body justice. And, the fact is, your swimwear is probably the read
