Work Out, Get Booze: This Class At Poste Offers The Best Motivation Ever

Finding motivation to hit the gym can be hard, especially when the arrival of summer weather means outdoor shopping, dining al fresco, and extended happy hours. Sadly, most of our favorite activities only leave us with a slimmer wallet — not a slimmer waistline. This is where Poste Moderne Brasserie's new fitness class, POP: Pilates On The Patio, is going to come in very handy.

Every Saturday morning from June 16 through July 21, Poste will team up with Pilates instructor Chauna Bryant to host an intimate class in its outdoor patio space. Here comes the motivation part: The $19 class includes a post-workout glass of sparkling wine. And for some extra encouragement, the restaurant has a special post-Pilates brunch menu that features tropical fruit plates and egg-white omelets. Or, if you're looking for a treat, you can splurge on some house-made doughnuts. A summer morning complete with libations, brunch, and getting fit for your favorite swimsuits and crop tops? Sign us up!
When: Saturdays, June 16 through July 21, at 10 a.m.
Where: Poste Moderne Brasserie, 555 8th Street NW; 202-783-6060.
