
You were born in London — what do you think the biggest differences are between living there and NYC?
"I think in the UK in general, style is a bit more thrown together — hair is not always brushed and nails are chipping off. I have to admit I sort of like that look, it feels more natural and doesn't make me feel bad, as I'm pretty low-maintenance. However, I love the threads of classic American style, things that remind me of summers on Lake Michigan, like Docksiders and Filson bags. I feel like the two places are merging now though as European designers are more popular over here."
