Tell us exactly what you do at Polyvore.
"Being Polyvore’s editor is unique because we’re a social network, so a
lot of my day involves finding new trends and curating. I’m the one you’re talking to on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest, too. I also get to interview designers and other fashion peeps, which is a dream come true."
What’s the most exciting thing about working at Polyvore?
"I love seeing trends begin and finding out which pieces from collections are going to be big. So much comes out of Fashion Week, but the style community really decides what makes the cut."
How would you describe your style?
"I think my fashion consciousness was born while watching Catherine Deneuve in The Umbrellas of Cherbourg when I was three or four. I covet everything about that look — the perfectly teased bouffant, the flick of eyeliner, the delicious little confections she wore … I could just live in it."
