Where can we find you on your off time?
"I end up spending a lot of time with my family since I grew up here. We go to El Metate at least once a week because it’s right near my house. I recommend the carnitas. In terms of night life, you might find me at the Knockout for Debaser or Booty Basement, Makeout Room for DJ Purple’s karaoke night, Dear Mom for the pop-up kitchen, or Jay’n Bee Club to watch baseball. I’m a sucker for a well-designed book or magazine, so I try to visit Ooga Booga’s pop-up shop at the Kadist Art Foundation, The Booksmith, or William Sout Books as much as my wallet will allow. Finally, I try to visit my alma mater, California College of the Arts, as much as possible. They have outstanding exhibits at the Wattis gallery and great lectures!
