Your August Love Horoscope, Revealed

comments
Get ready to relive the good old days. This August, romantic Venus is retrograde, making us all quite nostalgic. We could reconnect with an ex, search “the one that got away,” or take a heartwarming trip down Memory Lane with our mates. However, not all systems are go. While Venus is driving in reverse, we’re more likely to misconstrue people’s feelings. Is it a fling or the real thing? That won’t always be clear. But, remember, with Jupiter heading into precise, particular Virgo for a year on August 11, we can afford to be more selective. Only the best, dahhhlings, only the best.

Pisces Love Forecast

Hang on to your romance novel. Real-deal love is coming your way, Pisces — the kind that could one day include matching monograms and sparkly ring-finger baubles. On August 11, lucky Jupiter cruises into Virgo and your committed-relationship house for 13 months. What you truly need and desire from a partner will be impossible to ignore. Ready to get engaged? You might just pop the question before the month is through. Heads up: If you’re with the wrong one, you can’t dodge that inconvenient truth. But, before you bail, it would be worth it to do a few couple’s counseling sessions. With Venus retrograde until September 6, you could unearth some blocked emotions (resentment or guilt, perhaps) that are keeping you from enjoying the person who shares your bed. Single? Jet-setting Jupiter’s influence might bring a soulmate from a different cultural background than yours into the picture. You could meet while traveling, studying, or enjoying summer sports. And, the full moon in Pisces on the 29th helps you assert your needs, instead of making too many sacrifices.

Your Beauty Forecast: Electric Accents
To get the look, first prep your eyelids with foundation to serve as a base for your eye makeup. With a soft blending brush, sweep mauve eyeshadow into your crease, blending out toward the brow, and along your lower lashline. Next, use a pencil brush to apply pale-pink shadow along your upper and lower lashlines. Use a blending brush to diffuse the shade over your eyelid. Next, apply matte eyeliner in yellow to the inner corner of your eye, extending a third of the way along your upper and lower lashlines. Then, add a flick of the liner to the outer corner for a bright cat-eye. (Skipping the center of the lid creates a cool, colorblocked look.) Finish with deep-wine blush and a natural lip.
