Every person worth his/her fashion salt knows the transformative powers of a really, really awesome outfit — and when your outfit includes a cape and a lasers, well…it seems like Phillip Lim knows all about this phenomenon of transformation.

The designer is putting out a comic book to celebrate the arrival of his fall '12 collection. Titled, Kill The Night, the 3.1. Phillip Lim comic book isn't just a lame attempt at geekdom — drawn by Jan Duursema (of Star Wars comic book fame) and co-written by Phillip Lim and John Ostrander (who authored Suicide Squad, Grimjack, and Star Wars: Legacy), the comic can stand on its own, even without the beautiful fall '12 3.1 Phillip Lim collection "costumes" (though those definitely don't hurt).

If that doesn't inspire you to leap over tall buildings, we don't know what will.
