Percival’s New Alexa Chung-Styled Lookbook Is A Hipper Version Of The Blair Witch Project

Though she's undoubtedly become a style icon over the past year or two, pinpointing Alexa Chung's style is a difficult task. Her own ensembles are usually an offbeat mix of girlish, straight-edge pieces with a touch of dirty chic à la Kate Moss. Her brief affair with Madewell turned out more of the brand's signature downtown preppy style and a few T-shirts featuring silly doodles by Chung herself. Her styling for Percival's latest lookbook definitely leans more towards the dirty. Perhaps it's the work of Chung's inner hipster, longing for a sulky day in the sun after her clean-cut Madewell collaboration. In the handful of images featuring styles from the brand's fall 2011 collection, wide-eyed girls and dudes with beards wander aimlessly through foggy fields in the Williamsburger's version of work wear. These ghostly figures and their relatively cute outfits commune, oddly enough, beside a gigantic, burning wooden stick figure. Please be informed that if you purchase any of these items, you will be required to brood excessively, roll your own cigarettes, and maintain a constant expression of indifference. Good luck.
