Quail Draws Downtown's Cool Young Things To Its SoHo Loft Party Last Night
Yours truly hosted a party with our good friends over at Archetype Showroom last night in honor of up-and-coming designer Michelle Nguyen's fall '09 collection for her fun and flirty line Quail. The big, airy loft space quickly filled up with the likes of photographer Phil Oh, Nylon's Jared Flint, Surface2Air's Daniel Jackson, and boy-about-town Ian Bradley. Mark Ronson's too-cute girlfriend, Tennessee Thomas, kept the crowd moving with a slew of '60s and early '90s faves as models posed beneath giant balloons in the center of the room. The clothes had that '90s-chic-geek-meets-'80s-working-girl vibe, and as anyone who came out last night can attest to, that moment is back with a vengeance.
