First Bite: Swallow Magazine's Launch Party

Swallow, a large, hard-bound magazine dedicated to the one subject we care more about than fashion—food. Inside the Envoy
Gallery, right upstairs from our old haunt, Home Sweet Home, Casey threw his launch party, greeting various publishing types, writers, photographers, stylists, and Scandinavian cultural attaches with a small spread of caper-topped cheese concoctions, delicious thick-cut bacon, and all manner of nibbles. We flipped through the Nordic-themed issue, down Heinekens and Svedka as we listened to jazz, bid hello to Mimi Sheraton, and left with our eyes and stomachs full.
