Wear With Caution: These Origami Hats Might Give You Some Serious Paper Cuts

Way back when, paper art generally involved stabbing at a few pieces of folded paper and proudly pulling out a string of misshapen snowflakes. Reclaiming the joy of cutting up paper but vastly improving on the results is Atlanta-based duo Amy Flurry and Nikki Salk, who turned to making dramatic paper headpieces as catharsis in a difficult year. The beautifully sculpted labors of love, called the Paper-Cut Project, will go on display in the new year at Jeffrey New York and Atlanta, and are likely to give the store's best Balenciaga and Lanvin pieces a real run for their money. Now there's something we're willing to suffer a paper-cut for.
