What's the most memorable moment you've had while working here?
"Definitely, last summer’s company talent show at The Uptown Nightclub in Oakland. I had the opportunity to share an excerpt from my novel, Through the Painting Glass, which was really fun. It was also cool to see all the funny and talented folks I work with showcase their creative pursuits. We even got to see founder Tim Westergren perform this strange, yet mesmerizing, rhythmic knee-slapping routine."

What new artists are you totally obsessed with?
"Melody’s Echo Chamber and Darkstar’s new album News for Nowhere."

Everyone in the office seems really fun, what's the wackiest thing that someone has done on the job?
Kate: "The listener support team has a very, very dry sense of humor. As a whole, we answer thousands of emails every day and a lot of these aren’t intended for us, which is almost always funny, can sometimes be sad, and then there are times when we get invited to parties. One in particular came through for a Stew Night. I think the line that really got me was, 'Not everyone will drive 1,000 miles for a bowl of soup.' It became such an inside joke, that we decided to have our own Stew Night. We even wore Hawaiian shirts in honor of our director, who describes his own style as 'unmade bed.' So, we sat in a conference room, wearing Hawaiian shirts, eating stew, and watching Ghost World. That was pretty wacky. And that was only Wednesday."

You guys have amazing snacks, what's your go-to?
Kate: "In the mornings, I’ll have fresh berries, almonds, and make myself a latté. I’m also addicted to cheddar cheese and drink way more coconut water than one person possibly needs."
