Installations have become a trend of choice for grabbing attention to new or lesser-known collections. And, at last night's Pamela Love cocktail party, we saw how it can be done right, swooning over her makeshift cabanas that show-cased her fierce new jewelry collection. Highlights included the arrowhead collection, decorated with a huge dream-catcher and melting candles, and her Native American pieces, which came in obsidian, flint, and crystal. We also loved her new joint project with Black Sheep and Prodigal Sons, not to mention her much-hyped collab with Opening Ceremony. We were also pleased to see that her famed Talon Cuff got a Derrick R. Cruz facelift and was made over with diamonds placed in the hand-carved fossilized ivory claws. A scruffy mix of tie-dye types and stylish editors including Olivier Zahm, Garance Dore, and Sarah Kuhn all stopped by to check out the incredible collection, and judging from all the fawning over Pamela's tough-chick wares, we venture to say that when it comes to the jewelry thing, Pam—and her Tents!—have got it covered.
