Woodshop
The brainchild of four friends and artisans — Luke Bartels, Danny Hess, Josh Duthie, and Jeff Canham — this by-appointment-only space is part studio, part shop. In it, you can find a plethora of goods made by the aforementioned guys, including signs with rad typography, hand-crafted salvaged wood furniture, birdhouses, and, naturally, surfboards. Be sure to spend a few extra minutes staring at the wall decorated with dozens of soon-to-be-refurbished chairs found on the street, which is something like a work of art within itself.
