Shake Shack

This is the location where it all began for Shake Shack, and it's still the best. The hunter green tables and chairs may look like they were snatched from the Tuileries, but the menu is decidedly American here: burgers, fries, and frozen custard. Enjoying it all in the tranquil Madison Square Park is worth the wait in line.
