A Bevy Of Locals Star In This New S.F.-Centric Photography Show

If we’re feeling a tad stir-crazy and yearning for a sun-soaked vacay, we know we can always mosey on over to One Trip Pass to ogle Levi’s concept designer (and R29 fave) Jay Carroll’s road-trip-centric musings. His colorful, inspired posts chronicling creatives in different fields are an ultra-introspective, digital journey — and you don't even have to leave home. So, when we heard that some of Carroll’s portraits of local creatives were making waves in Japan, we were intrigued. The globe-trotting designer’s snaps are currently on display at a high-end frame shop in Tokyo called Globe Specs.
The images depict S.F. tastemakers in their respective workspaces and Bay Area backdrops sporting Cutler and Gross glasses. The roster of appearances is pretty impressive — with pics of the who's who in the Bay — from Scribe Winery’s Andrew Mariani to 7x7’s Lauren Goodman. Can't exactly make the trek to Japan to check out these fantastic faces? See the dreamy captures here and get ready to soak in some spec-tacular snaps. Have at it!
