We both live in Melbourne, so it was quite the adventure to organize the wedding in another state — a rural town, at that. Many of our guests wondered why we decided to get married in McLaren Vale. It really didn’t have anything to do with our everyday life, nor was it a place we grew up in (Armin is German, and I grew up in Brisbane).

But McLaren Vale is the place where we fell in love. When we began thinking of the most perfect location to host our special day, we immediately thought of this region. There are so many wonderful things about McLaren Vale — the wine, restaurants, beach, and countryside. The weekend went amazingly well, and everyone had a wonderful time. We were very privileged to have been able to share our day with our loved ones in one of the most perfect places on earth.

We love the rustic feel of their venue. It doesn't get more country than a ranch.
