Thread Count: tu.tu.blu's S/S 09 Lookbook

With a sweet name like "Honey Caipirinha," we were already inclined to like the new spring/summer collection from tu.tu.blu. Thankfully, the clothes themselves are equally charming. It's an explosive collection of vibrant Pollack-esque prints that will surely find their way into Iekeliene Stange's closet, and elaborate, cat's cradle-like embroidery that give otherwise dainty dresses and skirts a somewhat skeletal, unfinished effect. Our favorite piece: a slinky black mini-dress with ropey threads zigzagging their way across the fabric. What can we say, we like our pretty with a side of provocative.
