The Best of Youth: Corpus Reveals Playful Classics for Spring

corpus1006a.jpg

There's nothing uniform about Corpus' spring 2009 schoolgirl-esque collection. Keith Richardson and Jarrod Cornish are the masterminds behind the four-year-old label, which has primarily been noted for denim and menswear—until now. Not so different from the spirit of the men's collection, the women's line explores classic A-line silhouettes and boyish cuts with slight details like pin-tucks and pleating. It's a very different vibe from their Urban Outfitters line, without a doubt. We love love love the simple accents that make each item just a tad more special than the last. A must-get: the poncho tunic with toggles above the neckline. Sweet pieces like the white tennis dress and indigo cotton bloomers add a youthful quality to the otherwise practical collection of vests, linen jersey tanks, and tapered pants&mdsash;completely effortless and perfect graduated schoolgirls on the go, just like us.
