Simple Pleasures: Duskin's Delightful Debut

-21.jpg

Duskin designer Stephanie Tran is no stranger to the fashion world. After a stint at Vogue and time designing for American Eagle and Forever 21, Tran has decided to go it alone with her own line. Lucky for us, she's designing for artsy girls who love to have sustainable and versatile pieces in their closet and aren't afraid to mix and match. After a glimpse at her lookbook, we're particularly keen on the high-waisted shorts, slouchy cotton trousers, delicate chiffon tops and the elegant, earthy dresses. Tran told us that after a year in Los Angeles, she was itching to get back to New York to produce the line, and it sounds like she made the right decision since Steven Alan scratched that itch by picking up her Spring/Summer collection.
