Mi Amore: Monn'Amur Takes it to The Street

Designer Friedia Niimura has bounced around the world, appeared on a Japanese game show and been in a punk band. With a resume like that, starting up her own line, Monn'Amur seems like no sweat. Her line with it's hip-hop, streetwear asthetic looks comfy and funk, perfect for a night of making the rounds at some dive bars or a relaxed Sunday bike ride. When Nimura designs, she has a girl who doesn't mind walking the line, whether it be between feminine and masculine sensibilities or sweet simplicity and dark edginess. Keep your eyes peeled for this been-there-done-that designer's line to start making it's way to the urban runway.
