It's Not Even Leatha: Hyde S.K's Vegan Bags

Looking for some arm candy to go with your tofu? Citing a crisis of conscience as a longtime vegan who nonetheless used leather for her Hyde S.K handbag line, British designer Sacha Knight has made the move to use an animal-friendly, faux-leather alternative, Lorica, from now on. Judging by Hyde S.K's autumn/winter offerings of still supple, shocking neon green bags adorned with oversized tassels and kitschy-cute black and cherry red heart-shaped purses, we say leather, schmeather. We'll take one of those wood-detailed canvas backpacks or totes over a hamburger any day. PETA would be so proud.
