Aussie Import: Maise Denim's Golden Moment

maise_fallwinter08.jpg

Adding to the ranks of newer, more design-oriented denim collections like PRPS and Current/Elliott comes our latest obsession, the Australian-born Maise Label. Former Topshop designer Claire Greaves's innovative use of denim has quickly garnered a hefty Australian following, and lucky for us, rumor has it the collection is arriving in the U.S. this month. Using this ages-old fabric as the foundation for a fresh new line of casual separates, Maise's approach is sexy and functional, offering the more traditional wide-leg and skinny cuts balanced out with form-fitting bodysuits, slim plaid skirts, and oversized vests. Check out the line's latest lookbook shots…are those baggy shorts amazing or what?
