Before we go on and on about Obakki's fall '12 collection that benefits South Sudan, here's your 10-second crash course on why it's so important: Located in war-torn central Africa, Sudan was originally part of Egypt. When Sudan became an independent country in 1956, Northern and Southern Sudanese immediately began warring because of opposing beliefs. A violent and tumultuous civil war began and is devastating the communities there despite South Sudan becoming an independent state in 2011.

To do her part, Treana Peake, Obakki's founder and creative director, has created a 10-piece collection inspired by the culture and landscape of South Sudan. All of the proceeds (we repeat: 100%) will go toward covering the multiple costs of drilling water wells to give the Sudanese access to clean water. From the oversized camel coat to the smartly blocked body-con dress, every piece stands on its own, while giving you a reason to spread the news about South Sudan and encouraging others to help out.

Click through and pick your favorite pieces. Or, get them all — it's for charity!
