Bon Iver: Radio City Music Hall, September 19, 20, 21 $40
It’s been a huge couple years for Justin Vernon, from hanging with Kanye West to last year’s Grammy-winning epic Bon Iver, Bon Iver. If you’ve missed him on his many treks across the country these past few months, this week’s Radio City shows are a special chance to hear Vernon’s trademark falsetto echo through one of the best venues in the country.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday September 19, 20, 21 7 p.m., Radio City Music Hall, 1260 6th Avenue (between 50th and 51st streets); 22-247-4777.

Gang Gang Dance, Sun Araw: Public Assembly, September 21, $20
NYC’s incomparable Gang Gang Dance has been blending genres to create indescribable pop for the better part of a decade. This week, they’ll play a series of small-ish venues in Williamsburg, which is the absolute best way to see them play, in our opinion. If you can’t make it to Public Assembly, check them out at Cameo Gallery Saturday or 285 Kent on Sunday instead.
Friday, September 21, 9 p.m. Public Assembly, 70 North 6th Street, Brooklyn (between Wythe and Kent avenues); 718-384-4586.

All Tomorrow’s Parties – I’ll Be Your Mirror: Pier 36, September 21 - 23, $199
Curated by The Afghan Whigs front man Greg Dulli and featuring a massive lineup, including Frank Ocean, Philip Glass + Tyondai Braxton, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, The Roots, Hot Snakes, Mark Lanegan Band, Lightning Bolt, Autolux, The Make-Up, The Afghan Whigs themselves, and more, this year’s ATP festival is going to be a great one. Best of all, the three-day fest is easily accessible at Pier 36, so there’s no excuse not to see your favorite bands all in one place. Three-day or single-day passes are both available.

Friday-Sunday, September 21-23, Pier 36 (East River between Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges).

Up for more? Here are some bonus shows:
September 17: Deerhoof, Buke and Gase, and Mirel Wagner at Music Hall of Williamsburg.
