Hearth: Apple Cider Doughnuts
Cider seaaon is in full swing, and we’re huge fans of pastry chef Siobhan DeCarlo’s Apple Cider Doughnuts at Hearth, a no-frills American resto with Italian influences in the East Village. DeCarlo’s fluffy donuts are made in-house using homemade dough that’s infused with apple cider. They’re lightly fried, dunked in a generous amount of sugar-based apple cider glaze, and served piping hot alongside freshly-made whipping cream and apple compote (fancy apple sauce!).
