When it was announced that L.A.-based beatmaker Nosaj Thing (a.k.a. Jason Cheung) had titled his album Innovative Leisure, our minds ran wild dreaming up unusual ways to relax. As it turns out, , none of our ideas were as strange or striking as his new single "Try." Featuring Toro Y Moi on vocals (himself, off to a great start this year with "Say That"), the track's warbling synths and psychotropic atmospherics are anything but usual. Innovation can mean anything new, but Nosaj Thing's gloopy synths and Toro Y Moi's smooth vocals make for a tune that resembles guided meditation from the distant future.
