Norma Kamali To Launch Her First Line Of Sleepwear At Walmart
In the collaboration department, Walmart hasn't delivered many hits besides Norma Kamali. Her very cheap, and actually chic collection of ready-to-wear, accessories, swimwear, activewear, and children's wear have consistently impressed us (or maybe, have just looked impressive nestled in between the stretch-waist jeans and Tweety Bird shirts)—and have come in a great range of sizes that flatter. She'll add sleepwear to the mix on October 1. Although images and descriptions aren't available, it's safe to say that they'll be a heavy emphasis on blacks and whites, activewear details, and dramatic '80s shapes like oversized silhouettes and exaggerated sleeves. And retailing for an average of $10 a piece, this is one reason to step foot into a Walmart again. (WWD)
