When Hourglass artistic director, makeup artist Gina Brooke, recently hinted at launching a cutting-edge lash product, we knew something big was in the works. Well, Film Noir Lash Lacquer has arrived and it doesn't disappoint. Hitting the sweet spot between mascara and time-consuming faux lashes (or pricey lash extensions), the easy-to-use black gloss works as a top coat for your lashes: Just paint the intensely black, inky glaze over your mascara to darken, thicken, and extend your lashes into a fake lash-like effect. It's perfect for layering (Brooke recommends starting with a basic mascara, no extra volume or tubing) and the Lash Lacquer's mini brush is able to deposit more glossy product than regular mascara—and it doesn't clump. Get ready to lash out.
