Where To Go Out At Night:
Though she’d be just as comfortable at Motor City Bar in the Lower East Side, this rocker chick is a bit more glam than your typical Harley rider. When it’s time to get dolled up, she heads to Westway in the West Village. A former gentleman’s club, this dance spot features stripper stages, mirrored walls, and black, window-less rooms — nothing this girl can’t handle. There are no specialty cocktails here — just a fully stocked bar with three of her favorite men: Johnny, Jim, and Jack.
If you’re L.A. bound and share the same affinity for dark spaces and sexy spots, throw back a drink or two at the quiet, upscale bar known as The Writer’s Room in Hollywood. Then, when you’re ready to turn the night up a notch, head over to Papaya King — yes, the famed hot-dog spot on Wilcox Avenue. Through a bright, yellow door in this fast-food eatery, belongs the moody, exclusive lounge called The Sayers Club. With dark, wooden floors, a large, black bar, and gray curtains to shield every corner, you daring dames will feel right at home.
