Mega-Babe Nicole Miller’s Simple Beauty Secrets

Nicole Miller is a woman after our own hearts—we absolutely adore her eponymous, easy-to-wear label, have taken notes from her uber-successful career and business, and have literally brought in photos of her cute, sharp bob to our hairdressers for a copy-cat 'do. Nicole's ageless look and style is the kind of uncomplicated steez we really love to explore—so pardon us for digging a little bit into her beauty routine and philosophy to help us get on that path, ourselves. Below, our mini Q&A with the mega-babe in anticipation of her color-punched spring '12 collection (stay tuned over Fashion Week for the big reveal!).

You seem to have not aged over the past 20 years...what's your secret?
Nicole MIller: "I don’t change my hairstyle and I think it's important to stay the same weight all the time."
Tell us what products you use?
NM: "My favorite products are the Skin Therapy facial day cream and eye cream."
I know, as a busy woman myself, it's so hard for me to stick to a beauty regime. Are you super-diligent, or do you just do the best you can? What steps do you never skip?
NM: "I always use a washcloth to wash my face. Never cotton balls. I think it exfoliates my skin."
Style-wise, what are the three pieces you will never stop wearing and why?
NM: "I love my wedges, leggings, and tunics—I love comfort, but I like being taller, as well, so wedges are great for all day!"
Do you workout? If so, what do you love to do?
NM: "Right now, I am into spinning. I go to FlyWheel in Sag Harbor and Soul Cycle in Tribeca. I love the band class at Soul Cycle."
Your hair is always so simple yet really elegant and chic...who cuts it and do you have any secret products or treatments that you use?
NM: "Juan Carlos at Rita Hazan cuts my hair."
Plastic surgery or injections: Pro or con and why?
NM: "Whatever works! Everyone’s different. With bangs, you don’t need so much Botox!"

What's the one bit of beauty or style advice you would give to our younger readers?
"Figure out what your best assets are and focus on them—not everyone has everything!"
