Richard Chai Buddies up with Keds To Create Some Snappy Kicks
We ladies got excited about Richard Chai's new lower-priced collection yesterday, but now here's something for the boys: The designer and self-professed sneaker freak is partnering with Keds to produce a small men's collection for the ever-classic sneaker brand. The kicks come in an understated madras canvas (for the preppy set) or black and charcoal leather (for the downtown kids). Never one to be boring, Chai opted for zippers instead of laces to put an edgy spin on the classic sneak that we particularly appreciate. The only snag? You'll have to wait until January to score these babies. Patience, after all, is a virtue. (WWD)
