Newbie Label Creatures of the Wind Puts a Rosy Outlook on the Spring Shows
As a little sneak peek to whet our appetites, Chris Peters and Shane Gabier from Creatures of the Wind sent along a couple images from their forthcoming spring '10 collection. With styling reminiscent of the pastoral Louis Vuitton ads of '07, the new pieces show how delightful a little whimsy can be. We're imagining that shimmering bow-tied shirt atop a pair of dark trousers and the headdresses—both the great floral headband and patterned wrap—would add a bit of idyllic charm to any simple outfit. With the weather turning brisk, we're a little miffed that we won't get to cop any of the pieces until post-winter, but with the light at the end of the tunnel looking so sweet, we're sure we can hold out!
