New Zine Turns Print On Its Head (And Inside-Out, And Forwards-Back)

Call us biased, but we're of the mentality that if you're going to do something in print, it had better be something that we can't do on the internet. We just came across the new zine, The Slant , that distracted us from our computer screens for a solid few hours… and hoo boy, this thing really makes a case for print.

The theme of the zine—of, artifact, as the creators have dubbed it—is "Shame," and all content ranges from a Brown Paper Bag Test diptyque to a playlist featuring songs of shame ("Creep" by Radiohead, "Thieves in the Temple" by Prince, "It's a Sin" by Metric), all packaged in a folded, origami-style package that you can use as a double-sided poster afterward (the hardest part is choosing which side to display!). The book is the creation of model consultant (and coach) Mac Folkes, and is available for purchase for $36 here. Check out the video below to see it in all its foldy, flippy glory.
