The 9 NYC Artists You Need To Know Now
By Leila Brillson & Andrea Cashman

Peter Demos, Unrepresented
Andrea says: "Peter Demos is working with a hard-edged minimalism and while his palette is reduced to black and white, he’s able to achieve a tremendous amount of variation in the quality of the black — which ranges from a grey tone to a heavy lacquered gloss. The geometry of the shapes paired with a nuanced approach to the application of paint really pushes and pulls the viewer to experience an incredible amount of depth on a flat picture plane."
Peter is currently a part of the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation.
