Edward Barsamian, the super-chic contributing writer for T Magazine's online site, has been seen around town with Céline—the bag, that is. Typically a status symbol for girls-about-town and Bergdorf's first-floor shoppers (really, the same thing), Barsamian, pictured here at DANNIJO's spring '12 presentation, tries to make a case for dudes to get Phoebe Philo-ed, too. On a basic level, it's still about having a place to store on-the-go necessities (extra pairs of flats, makeup, and maybe every third day, a bottle of dry shampoo). So, really, maybe it's no surprise that men like Edward want to get in the tote-game too, ditching the more iconically male briefcase for way more space, especially during NYFW. "I like the Luggage Tote because it fits my life for the week including a spare set of clothes while still retaining its clean, minimal shape," Barsamian tell us. "A lot of my friends—both guys and girls—have asked me how I got one, and how I can get one too." Ladies, you tell us: What do you think about this statement pieces on the gents? And guys, would you rock this look? To be honest, we've borrowed lots of styles from the boys, but are we willing to give up some of our coveted Célines?
