We usually breathe a small sigh of relief when Fashion Week is over and can give our poor, tired feet a break and live in Snooki-style house slippers for a month. Not this year. New York Fashion Week spring '13 had one of the most diverse and daring collection of footwear — and we don't mean on the runway.
From the cobblestones of the Meatpacking district to the stairs of Lincoln Center and the stretches of NYC sidewalks, there were flats, sneakers, and boots that really racked up the miles over the week-long fashion fest. And, of course, the heels — higher, hotter, and OMG-orgeous as ever — were the ultimate statement makers of practically every inspired ensemble.
