On a quest for the next big thing in the food industry, sisters Danielle and Laura Kosann have begun the journey with The New Potato. Profiling chefs, restauranteurs, and celebrities alike with cuisine questionnaires, the world of dining has reached a whole new level of delish. This week, the ladies chat to NYC-based fashion designer Rachel Antonoff.

It’s all about the Upper West Side this week, so we toured the ‘hood of adorable fashion designer Rachel Antonoff (definitely one of our favorite Upper West Siders) for all her favorite food haunts. Antonoff is absolutely that girl that — immediately upon meeting her — you want to be best friends with (P.S. Did you see the “Best Friends” video she collaborated on with Lena Dunham?). We chilled with Antonoff as long as possible over white wine, Joe Coffee, Juice Press goodies, and heart-shaped sunglasses, of course.

TNP: What would be your ideal food day?
Rachel Antonoff: "Okay — I would start with McDonald’s breakfast. Then for lunch I would have the lunch box from Ozu (salmon, rice, steamed kale, beans, and squash). Then I’d probably have steak at the Knickerbocker for dinner and then around midnight or so, I would hit up IHOP and have plain buttermilk pancakes. Then I’m guessing I would have a coronary."

TNP: What would you last meal be?
"I think I would be too nervous to eat."

TNP: What’s your drink?
"There is a drink at Little Dom’s in Los Angeles called Penicillin and I’m convinced it’s the best cocktail in the world."

TNP: What’s the restaurant you just became obsessed with?
"Ozu. I eat there incessantly."

TNP: How do you always start your day?
"I always start my day with a big coffee from Joe Coffee."

TNP: Where do you travel for inspiration?
"I like to go to Long Beach Island. It’s really pretty and cozy."

TNP: What won’t you travel without?
"Lip balm and underwear."

TNP: What are you favorite New York restaurant go-tos?
"Souen is one of my all time favorites. I also frequent the IHOP on East 14th Street. They let me have my birthday party there last year. I have always loved Quatorze on the Upper East Side; it’s amazing. And, The Mercer Kitchen really never gets old."

TNP: You didn’t like X till you had it at Y.
"Oysters until I had them at Fish."

TNP: Your vices are?
"Lip balm — I think I’m actually addicted."

TNP: What are five things you’re loving right now?
"Game of Thrones, sweatpants, Rosé, The Drybar, and Juice Press."

TNP: If you could switch closets with one person in the world, who would it be?
"Laurie Simmons."

TNP: If you wanted to create the very best dinner party vibe, what five people would you invite?
"Boring answer but I think it would be the same people I have dinner with all the time; my best friends, my brother, and my parents."

TNP: If you were to create the worst dinner party vibe, what five people would you invite?
"Every answer I come up with for this feels too mean to put out into the world."
