Now through the end of October, you can catch the American Market at National Harbor. This upscale farmers' market peddles items that are locally grown or made, including fresh produce, specialty food items, and handmade gifts. It's definitely worth a stop if you're craving kettle corn or just-picked apples.
Where: American Way between Waterfront and Fleet streets.
When: Saturdays through October 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
