To score this cool checkerboard effect seen at Nicole Miller, Arnold says to paint two coats of bright pink polish over the entire nail. Dip a detailing brush in navy blue polish and create a cross in the center of the nail, then fill in the opposing squares with blue polish. Finish with a shimmery top coat to add a bit of depth to the look.
