If you ask me, entertaining during the holidays is the most fun time to throw a party. You can get really creative with party themes for your food, beverages, and décor. So this year, instead of doing the same ol' wine-and-cheese offering, I decided to step it up with a “sugar and spice” theme for our annual girls' gift exchange. I covered my dining room table with sweet treats, classic holiday candies (peppermint, anyone?), and homemade mulled cider. I'm pulling out all my nice glassware and china, but swung by T.J.Maxx to get some last-minute party fixings. See how I'm preparing my home for my girlfriends, ahead.
