Yes, You CAN Wear Sequins In The Daytime — Here's How

Everyone has a list of wardrobe essentials that they can’t live without — a great pair of jeans, a white blouse, ballet flats, etcetera. But for me, I'm all about a good statement topper. On days when I don’t have time to fuss over what I’m wearing, I need an item that can stand alone, something that doesn’t require additional accessories, and can be thrown over an easy white tee and jeans but still look, well, stunning. Enter the sequin blazer.

As soon as I walked into T.J.Maxx, it was like the blazer in all of its glistening glory was just sitting in the first rack, waiting for me. A fancy designer number like this would've cost a pretty penny at a boutique, but I got it for such a steal. The best part is how light the fabric is, so I can layer it on top of anything without looking bulky.
I’ve been pairing her with pencil skirts and witty graphic tees for a day of meetings, then throwing on some skinnies and heels for dinner with friends. The best part is how sweetly low-maintenance the rest of the outfit needs to be. I just sit back and let my blazer steal the show.
P.S. If you want to show off your own style, tag your T.J.Maxx find with #Maxxinista on Twitter or Instagram for a chance to win a $1,000 gift card. Find out more here.
