The Secret To Personal Style? Gal Meets Glam Blogger Julia Engel Tells All

Web
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved dressing up and putting outfits together. Personal style has always been a way for me to express myself. You can tell what mood I’m in depending on what I’m wearing, whether it's a little bit edgy with some leather or preppy with a button-up and oxfords.
My style is always changing, but the basics remain the same: classic, feminine, and colorful, like this outfit. I’ve always been drawn to timeless pieces that I will wear again and again. I don't try to follow trends but be inspired by them. When I dress for my blog, I show outfits that I actually wear in real life. I’m not putting together costumes or some outrageous look that’s not practical for my everyday life in S.F. I think that's why people can relate to my style, because it's easy to replicate and interpret in their own way.
At the end of the day, when it comes to personal style, there are no rules and there is no right or wrong way to do things. You should experiment and play around, because fashion is supposed to be fun.
