This year, I'll be heading to downtown's Bubble Lounge to ring in the New Year with just my favorite people. I love getting dressed up and New Year's Eve is the perfect excuse to go all out. But, just because you want to get dressed to the nines doesn’t mean you have to spend a fortune. As proof, I got my entire ensemble at T.J.Maxx — and didn't spend a dollar over $100.
For a dress that you can keep wearing into the New Year, I bought a black dress that I spruced up with some glitzy accessories. Since we're going to party, I chose a tight-fitting silhouette, which is mitigated by my kahuna of coats. Its faux fur collar adds an element of glamour to my sophisticated, polished look.

Photographed by Maria del Rio.I love juxtaposing something feminine with something edgy, and since the shoes are so girly, this studded cross-body brings balance to the outfit. It’s also the perfect size to carry just the essentials: phone, lip gloss, and wallet.
Photographed by Maria del Rio.These statement earrings are so festive without heading to Cheese Town, and were only $10 — the final touch to my NYE outfit. Now, all I need is a party hat and a glass of champy to celebrate. Happy New Year!
