How to Rock a Crop Top Without Gisele's Abs

There are girls who religiously go to Soul Cycle every morning and drink green juice for breakfy. And then there's me. For those of us who don’t live at the gym, the thought of wearing a crop top can be a bit intimidating. And while crop tops seemed to be of the shor-lived trendy variety, these midriff tops aren't going anywhere — even the fall lines have shorter hem on their sweaters.
But, you don't have to become a gym rat to play with proportions this season. While we can’t rewind time to do those extra sets of sit-ups, I've figured out a few styling tricks that'll help you and me fake it until next summer.

If all else fails, wear a complementary button-down shirt underneath a loose-fitting crop. This is a safe way to indulge in the trend without worrying about your waistline.
