No Love Lost: Kanye Illustrates New Style & Sound

Breaking up is a bitch and Kanye West seconds that motion. In his new video for "Heartless", the second single from his much-anticipated album 808's and Heartbreak, 'Ye animates his pain and anguish over a love lost through director Hype Williams' Hanna-Barbara friendly cartoon video. Bedecked in tailored suiting and the freshest of kicks and brightest of palettes, West is a new sort of hip-hop figure—more WoodWood or Odin than Starter Jackets or Rocawear. Right now, we're loving the risks West is taking from his auto-tuned singing to his wardrobe choices—both are much more grown up choices than say, varsity cardigans and "Dropout Bear."
