Sure, it's totally acceptable to buy an exact replica of the Queen's regal regalia, but everything we found just seemed so, well, tacky. We wholeheartedly think that it's way more noteworthy when you add your own invention to the getup (plus, you don't want to spot your Bobsy twin across the room, right?). So, we found something we're sure the Mad Hatter would be impressed with: a high-collared shirt (we went with McQ because it seemed fitting, but there are many other inexpensive options out there, too), and a velvet maxi. You can't go without the fro, sceptre, and strategically affixed maquillage, but get a stuffed pig, and some other items emblazoned with hearts, and you'll be indie Wonderland royalty!
