Jordan and Thomas grew up oceans apart: she in the famed Southern California beach town known as Malibu and he in Kingsley, Cheshire in England. But, in 2011, their worlds would collide when Jordan’s job asked her to do a two-month stint in their London office that just happened to share a space with Tom’s company. It only took Tom a week to email her under the guise that he had friends visiting L.A. and needed restaurant recommendations, and then one more week for them to fall in love.
On their one-year anniversary, Tom proposed at Jordan’s family home back in Malibu. The now-New-York-based couple enlisted JOWY Productions to help them plan an intimate affair in Jordan’s native Southern California with a special emphasis on both their families.
