Work Out In The Great Outdoors All Summer Long—For Free!

052-millennium-workouts
It can be next to impossible to find the motivation to hit the gym during the summer—who wants to pound the treadmill when there are rays to be caught (and margaritas to drink!) at Big Star? Unfortunately, those itty bitty bikinis can be quite unforgiving, and you can't get a six-pack by downing tequila. It's perfect timing, then, that weekly summer workouts in Millenium Park are kicking off next week. The city will be holding free (!) classes every Saturday morning, and the lineup has serious butt-kicking potential—think yoga, tai chi, and zumba. Live music will be blasting through the park's state-of-the-art sound system, so that you can keep up your energy for as long as you want. The schedule changes every couple of weeks, so check it out here, and get ready to get fit. Sure, Millenium Park is no North Ave Beach, but it sure beats the YMCA.
When: Saturdays, June 9 through September 1, from 7 to 11 a.m.
Where: Millenium Park, 201 East Randolph Street (between Michigan and Columbus avenues); 312-742-1168.
