Earlier this week, quiff-sporting R&B singer Miguel dropped his latest LP, the truly excellent Kaleidoscope Dream. Blown out and intimate, the album marks another turn in the new school of R&B alongside artists like The Weeknd and Frank Ocean. (Though, to be fair, he's been doing it longer than either.)
Now, Miguel has a new video for his song, “The Thrill” — a huge party track with a Peter Gabriel-sized chorus that lives up to its name. The clip features Miguel hanging out with various beautiful-looking people at his longtime girlfriend Naz’ birthday party. With its quick cuts and high-def black and white, it’s as glossy and celebratory as the track itself. (via Rolling Stone)
